Roy Williams Jr. is a passionate and very talented up and coming young actor and writer. Roy specializes in Method Acting created by Lee Strasberg and made popular by actors such as Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Paul Newman, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, and Robert De Niro -- just to name a few.

Roy Williams, Jr. was born on March 12, 1983 on the beautiful island of Hawaii. His father was stationed at Schofield Barracks Army Post in Hawaii. Roy's parents decided not to have more children; ergo Roy is an only child.


At the age of two, Roy's father was transferred to Ft. Stewart Army Post in Hinesville, GA. While living in Georgia, Roy discovered his love and passion for sports as well as the arts; Roy had his first poem published at the age of six. Roy continued to live in Savannah until the age of 10 when his father was transferred to Eglin Air Force Base in the panhandle of Florida.


While living on Eglin, Roy attended Cherokee Elementary. His family soon moved off base to a near by city, Valpariso. While living in Valparaiso, Roy attended Addie R. Lewis Middle School where he played on the football, basketball and baseball teams. Roy discovered his talent as an amazing, natural athlete during this time. Roy then attended Niceville Senior High School where he excelled in baseball, basketball and track. Roy also had two other poems published during this time. The poems were written after his high school sweetheart and current fiance, Tina. Shortly after graduating, Roy was able to have his first taste of acting in a theater production for the talent company, Hollywood Comes to the Emerald Coast.


Roy went on to attend Northwest Florida State College after graduation where he was very close to graduating with his associate's degree -- six credits shy -- when he acted (no pun intended) on his love for film and thespians and moved to Orlando to attend Full Sail University where he graduated with a film degree in February of 2006.


Since living in Orlando, Roy has been actively involved with production in Orlando and the surrounding areas. Roy has worked on projects such as Never Back Down, The Final Destination 3D, Tiger Woods commercial for Nintendo Wii and La Fleur de Mai just to name a few.


Roy has great ambition and is looking towards the future to one day soon achieve an elevated level of success in acting. Roy hopes to one day help people and affect people in a positive way through his acting and portrayal of characters.
