I have specialized in the creative aspects of theater for over 18 years - managing, designing and building scenery and props for theater on and off Broadway as well as for many regional companies and major Festivals featuring drama, dance, and opera. Additionally, I have worked on a few films including two features and have just finished Production Design on a film directed by Todd Holland that is slated for Out-Fest in Los Angeles this year. For the past three years I have served as Artistic Director and Producer for The Velvet Glove Kabarett Theater in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. And most recently, I was in Charleston, South Carolina building and running this year’s Spoleto Festival USA.

Through my experience over the course of 18 years as a production artist I have gained the skills and confidence necessary to design and produce beautifully executed scenery. I am very organized, attentive to detail and have a good eye for period design and style – producing the necessary set within the prescribed budget. I am an articulate carpenter and craftsman with the skill to build ¼” scale models and miniatures as well as scenery. I am a graphic designer who can create periodical, faux-product, and paper props, signage, and graphic scenery for any demographic or period. I have years of experience painting, sculpting, crafting, upholstering, making mask, costumes and props. I am extremely resourceful and have excellent shopping and negotiating skills. I manage time well, prioritizing and meeting deadlines while maintaining a level head in fast paced production environments.
