Upon learning of the death of their friend, three 1950s Greasers set out to find Death, to put an end to his tricks once and for all, by killing him. They find an old man and believe he is death. He 'convinces' them he is not, but tells them exactly where he is certain they can find death, if they truly want to do so. The Greasers follow his directions to an old tree, where they find not a grim reaper, but a fortune. Now rich, they abandon their current plans and decide to carry off the money. They elect that it is safer to move it after dark, and while waiting, send the youngest away to purchase refreshments. While he is gone, the older two plot to murder him and keep his share for themselves. Meanwhile, the youngest wonders why he should share at all with the older two, and acquires poison for the drinks he is bringing. This is an adaption of Chaucer's Pardoner's tale. Now Casting for greasers, death, and extras. To shoot between now and 3/9/09. This is a SCAD student film.
