The short film, HUSH, a Graduate thesis project which revolves around a bullied teen (Nathan) whose on a quest to get his St. Christopher necklace back from the bully (Xavier). While on his quest for his necklace, Nathan unexpectedly reveals that he is not the only one who is a “victim of circumstances”.

We are looking for fresh, young and talented actors. We are shooting in Savannah, GA in the months of September and October.

Characters:

NATHAN SANDERS is an African American teen (17-18) who is sensitive and timid in his ways. Many would see him as being reserved and shy. He tends to be non-combative to others and only feels protected with his St. Christopher necklace that his grandmother gave him before she passed.

XAVIER SMITH is an African American teen (17-18) who is very aggressive and has a short temper. XAVIER is very troubled and likes to bully those he considers to be the "weak". He uses bullying as a way to have control of others since he is always being “controlled” by his father.

DERRICK SMITH (middle-age African American male) is the father of XAVIER SMITH. He frequently drinks alcohol and abuses his son under the influence.

MOM is an African American woman who is the mother of NATHAN.

The POLICEMAN is a middle-aged male (Any race).
