A coming of age film for the entire family, Me and Caleb is an adaptation of the award-winning children’s book by Franklin E. Meyer.
The story takes place in the 1950’s in a small town in the Ozarks at the beginning of the exciting age of space exploration in our country. Bud and his younger brother, Caleb, love space ships and space travel as much as they love fishing and walking barefoot down to the Harleyville creek to nap in the cool shade.
The boy’s lazy country summer is interrupted when a new family of city folk moves in down the street. Bud instantly falls in love with his beautiful new neighbor (Angelica), but her younger “brother” (Lawrence) proves that he’s tough as nails and poses quite a physical threat to both Bud and Caleb.
An instant rivalry begins as Bud and Caleb come up with scheme after scheme to try to out whit and foil this new “beast” of a neighbor boy. All the while, Bud walks a delicate line between outright hating Lawrence and maintaining an amicable relationship with Angelica.
A solution to all of Bud’s problems presents itself. A contest in the back of a Boy’s Life magazine provides the perfect opportunity for Bud to impress Angelica by winning the grand prize, a Houdini Space Hovercraft flying machine, and also to defeat Lawrence. Let the games begin!

I am looking for a great storyboard artist to develop boards for ONE SCENE ONLY. Seven to ten pages of script is all. I need to do an animated storyboard of just one scene. 1957 boys hand fishing, overturning boats, splashing, grabbing a huge snake, etc. Lots of fun in this scene.
