Memento Mori (a Latin phrase meaning “Remember, you shall die”) tells the story of Dave, a still-single, stressed-out, middle-aged man that has a breakdown in the midst of a normal workday. In desperation, Dave reaches out to a long-lost love of old, Clare. Clare meets Dave at a café where he solemnly admits that his whole life has passed by while he’s been waiting for it to begin.

The screenplay is based on the song Time by Pink Floyd. It will be shot for a Narrative Final Film production. The theme will be dramatic intercut with a music video style.



The roles available are:

Dave: mid-30’s (must be able to pass for twenty-ish for flashback scene), athletic to average build

Clare: the one that got away, late 20’s-mid30’s (will also appear in flashback scene) tall, slim to average build, long hair a plus

Boss: Dave’s younger superior, late 20’s-early 30’s, cocky, preferably shorter than Dave’s character (5’7” – 5’10”)

Homeless Man: 40-60’s, “Grizzly look”, would be helpful if you have something that could help with costume
