An unknown illness, and a snowstorm, confines George Deforester to the moldy, barren interiors of his hundred-year old house. His desire to escape his crippling situation becomes desperation when he discovers that there is a monster in his bed. After George tells his parents that there is a Monster in his bed they play along hoping that if they can kill their sons imaginary threat that maybe he will get better. While his mother physically tries to kill the monster, George’s father encourages his son to become friends with it. But George finds it difficult to battle his monster alone as he is cut off from the outside world. While his mother spends all day dwelling on her lost past and creating a mess around the house for herself to clean, his father locks himself in a small room and tries to write novels. Sure George’s parents feed him, and keep him alive, but for George to continue living they must decide to help him grow. SEEKING: Crew, and actors who are looking for a thrill
