I'm trying to put together an all-male production of Much Ado About Nothing, shake some of the dust of the play... I've directed Chekhov in an abandoned bar and a two-hundred-year-old house, Shakespeare in a stripped-down theater and to an 80s soundtrack, and an original Western in a backyard. Much Ado strikes me as being full of strange tests of masculinity, hence the casting choice.
This will be a fun, cut, physically intense version of the play, with live music.
