Gabriel is Jasmines best friend so it’s only natural for her to try and do all she can to ease the pain Jasmine feels of being pegged the ugly girl. She “grants” Jasmine her one and only wish- to have blue eyes. However, what was meant to be a pretend ritual for Gabriel turns reality for Jasmine, as she totally believes she has blue eyes. The dynamic of their relationship begins to change as Gabriel realizes that she must try and bring her friend back into the real world. When Gabriel’s attempt to “reverse” the wish fails, things get worst. Jasmine becomes uncontrollable, and Gabriel fears that her friend is trapped in a world she may never get out of.
