Jude Temple is a self righteous, older woman who only associates herself with people who hold themselves to the highest Christian standards and chastises anyone who is different. She is quick to judge and wishes to live her life without any close relationships. An unexpected call during one Ladies Poker Night brings Jude’s past to haunt her and gives her a responsibility she has ignored until now.
When Jude’s daughter is killed in a hit and run car accident, Jude becomes the only guardian to her grandson, Joseph. A grudge that Jude has held onto since her daughter had gotten pregnant ten years ago has transformed into a hate for a child she has never met. In his greatest time of need, Joseph finds Jude cold hearted and unconcerned for his well-being. Wanting to be rid of the burden of raising Joseph, Jude decides to send him to boarding school so she can once again live her life relationship-free.
On the morning Jude is going to tell Joseph about boarding school, a police officer arrives at Jude’s door to inform her that her daughter was killed by a friend of hers who was driving while drunk. Jude realizes she had a hand in her daughter’s death and she missed out on her daughter’s life due to her own character flaws. She decides that she does not want to miss out on her grandson’s life or live alone anymore.
We are currently looking for the roles of:

JUDE: 50-70 year old woman. Grandmother to Joseph.
LUCY: 50-70 year old woman. Jude's best friend with a dark secret.
