Danny Boyle, a young man with something to prove, finds himself in the fight of his life... in and out of the ring.
From a childhood of growing up in his dad's boxing gym, a father-son team would seem to be the likely future. But after the death of his mother, boxing put a wall between the two. Was it the wishes of his late wife that kept John from supporting his son's boxing career or did he really believe that Danny wasn't cut out for it? Either way Danny was bound to prove his father wrong and taking a last minute fight against his protege was just the way to do it. Against his father's advise would he follow through with the bout, and if so, could John stand in the opposite corner of his son?
