It's the future. The year 2000. The global economy has sunk, unemployment is skyrocketing and former intergalactic adventurer Kip Thunder is barely scraping by, battles with armies of evil robots and bloodsucking aliens on the back burner while he deals with the mortgage on his decrepit spaceship. Scraping the bottom of the barrel and hiring a reality television crew to follow his daily escapades, Kip is forced to reunite with his former child sidekick, Jeff Arsons, now fully grown and fully spiteful of his former mentor.

Kip and Jeff are forced to confront each other and the result is a darkly comic, deeply tragic film about love, loss and regret.

And robots. Lots of robots.

Meredith: Early thirties, a cold, corporate television producer.

Todd/"The Crimson Scourge": Late twenties to early thirties, a former supervillain, now paroled from prison and down on his luck.

The Director: Overly-controlling television director with a foul mouth and a short temper.
