Two con men, Clive and Henry enter a restaurant in the guise of a homeless busker, and an antiques dealer to fool Jim, the restaurant owner, out of $100,000 and a free dinner. The linch pin of the scam is convincing Jim that the Violin, is a world renown stradivarius in the possession of an ignorant, and defenseless homeless man.
This film not typical con movie because it's about the deceptive and discriminatory nature of first impressions, and environmental effects of social interference.
